Dr. Wagner joined Charlotte Surgical Group in 2003. A native of northeastern Pennsylvania, Dr. Wagner attended medical school at Temple University School of Medicine. She completed her surgical residency at the George Washington University Medical Center in Washington, D.C. During this time, she developed an interest in surgical diseases of the endocrine system, and pursued this in the form of a clinical fellowship in Endocrine Surgery at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation in Ohio.

Dr. Wagner is Board qualified by the American Board of Surgery and is a candidate member of the American College of Surgeons. She is also a member of the Society of American Gastrointestinal Endoscopic Surgeons (SAGES) and the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honors society.

Dr. Wagner practices the full spectrum of General Surgery, including laparoscopy. Her special interest is in surgical treatment of endocrine disorders, including the thyroid, parathyroid and adrenal glands, as well as treatment of pancreatic endocrine tumors. She also serves as a Trauma Surgeon for Presbyterian Hospital.

In her spare time, she enjoys hiking, biking, running and cooking.

Dr. Wagner sees patients at the Mid-Town Medical Plaza.

Dr. Wagner is Board Certified.
