Dr. Wallace joined Charlotte Surgical Group in 2006. A native of Tennessee, he attended medical school at Vanderbilt University School of Medicine in Nashville. He completed his surgical training at Vanderbilt University Medical Center and the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics.
Dr. Wallace is Board Certified with the American Board of Surgery. He is also an Associate Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. Additionally he maintains membership in other local and national medical organizations.
Dr. Wallace’s interests include a full range of general surgical specialty care, including trauma care, breast disease and breast surgery, skin cancers including melanoma, thyroid surgery, cancer surgery and all surgery of the abdomen and its contents. In addition, he is skilled in minimally invasive (laparoscopic) and robotic surgery, performing procedures such as hernia repair, gallbladder removal, surgery to treat heartburn (fundoplication or "wrap") and others.
He enjoys spending his time outside of the hospital with his wife, Kerri, and children, William and Ella Grace. He enjoys sports (especially golf), music, and traveling.
Dr. Wallace sees patients primarily at the Matthews and Pineville locations of Charlotte Surgical Group. He also serves as a trauma surgeon for Presbyterian Hospital.
Dr. Wallace is Board Certified.
